24 November to 16 December – Mama White Snake

Presented by Wild Rice, Mama White Snake is about the classic Chinese folk tale, Madam White Snake – but with a cheeky twist! Meng dreams of adventuring beyond Emei Mountain, but is discouraged by his aunt and mother. When Meng decides to go for his adventure, he enrols in a martial arts school run by Master Fahai. Meng makes new friends and finds true love, but will he still live happily even after his master realises that his mother and aunt are snake spirits?

1 to 26 December – Christmas Wonderland

This year, Christmas Wonderland is back again at Gardens by the Bay! Be greeted by a giant luminous Christmas Tree, part of the Italian luminarie – Sculptures of Light throughout the fairground. Look forward to an array of activities such as fun family-friendly acrobatic performances by Circus Abyssinia Present Ethiopian Dreams, skating under the stars, carnival games and more.

There, you’ll be able to see your friendly local Farmers with their best produce, food, live entertainment and lots to learn! Kick off your festive season in the Kranji Countryside by supporting local!

6 to 10 December – The Nutcracker Presented by Singapore Dance Theatre

The Nutcracker is a Christmas special presented by the Singapore Dance Theatre about Clara and her adventures with the Nutcracker doll, DR Drosselmeyer, when he comes alive and turns into a handsome prince. Clara then helps the prince to fight the Mouse King and his army of mice.

8 to 9 December – ZoukOut

ZoukOut is Asia’s largest dance music festival at the beach. It is also Asia’s largest dusk-to-dawn beach festival in the region, running over 12 hours. Marshmello, Claptone, DJ Snake and more will be there!

8 December 2017 to 1 April 2018 – Marina Bay Carnival

Set to be Singapore’s largest carnival held at Marina Bay, the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival will take up 25,000 square metres, occupying both The Promontory and Bayfront Event Space. There’s going to be over 40 family-friendly and thrilling rides to look forward to, not to mention the usual yummy carnival food!

9 December – Santa Run for Wishes

Santa Run for Wishes is organised by Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore to raise funds for children with life-threatening diseases. Starting at 7:30am, start your run or walk leisurely with your loved ones along The Promontory at Marina Bay. There are still a limited number of slots left and are available on a first come first serve basis so do sign up as soon as you can!

9 December – The First Sustainable Christmas Market

The First Sustainable Christmas Market is a free event that advocates sustainability. The market aims to promote ethical products, edible produce, and craft by local start-ups, and there will be 23 exclusive vendors to shop from. Flashbang, Singapore’s first creative retail playground, is organised by Invade – the same people who brought Artbox to Singapore. The open-air car park at Grange Road and 313@Somerset’s Discovery Walk will be transformed into the biggest multi-sensory event of the year, featuring a well-curated F&B and retail market, interactive exhibitions, neon light art installations, music & performances, creative workshops, and games. Flashbang will feature two different sets of programmes; family-friendly for day-walkers, and party vibes for the night-dwellers.

The Local People will transform South Beach Avenue into a huge one-stop Christmas Party for everyone in the heart of the Civic District, with Santa’s Workshop @ the South Pole. Head over to their final art market of the year with a fun-filled arts and craft, food and music-laden Christmas Day celebration!
