The Transformers Run is a 5km fun run held at Sentosa on 6th January. Look forward to booths and games at the carnival starting at 12pm! The actual run only starts at 4pm but you can head down early to soak in the fun at the carnival. There will be a NERF Arena, inflatables, Transformer merchandises, F&Bs and Transformers’ showcases to enjoy.

The race pack will include an official Transformers Run T-shirt, a water bottle, a wristband, a drawstring bag as well as other goodies and discount coupons.

The learning festival serves as a platform for youth to develop into volunteers with the heart, knowledge and skills. The youth will be inspired to serve, gain insights and get equipped to do good better and create more impactful change in the community. There will be many workshops, panel sessions and simulation sessions that you can be a part of! 20 January – Tea Pairing for Kombucha

First of all, a little background info – Kombucha, the Tea of Immortality, is a fermented tea that’s currently all the rage around the world. Through the use of SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast), tea and sugar are converted into probiotics that are good for your gut. A certified tea sommelier with the Australian Tea Masters, Melissa blends her own teas and collaborates with A.Muse Projects, a Singaporean tea company.

In this workshop, you will learn how to select good teas for kombucha making (say goodbye to commercial teabags), stack flavours with different sugars, and the basics of fermentation. This course is suitable for beginner and intermediate kombucha makers. You’ll be receiving 6 different types of tea, 4 types of sugar and 3 types of kombucha samplers.
