” It takes forever to cook”

“I will starve before I get to eat!”

If you are going to slow cook your food, it definitely isn’t wise to start 10 minutes before you would like to have your meal. However, if you are willing to start preparing early for an almost hassle free and delicious meal, we have some recipes just right for you!

These soft and tender fall-of-the-bone ribs will be perfect for anyone at almost anytime. As with all slow cooked recipes, you can’t go wrong with this one too. Remember to use low sodium soy sauce to avoid feeling like you are eating something cooked with Dead Sea’s water.

Another recipe that uses lemons – this vitamin C-packed citrus wonder has got to be my favourite. Salmon is not only delicious and flavourful, it may even help lower you risk of getting a heart disease, arthritis, and more. Enjoy this nutrition-filled meal for both the kids and yourself.

Raise your hands if you are a fan of chocolate lava cakes! This brownie is sure to be a favourite among you chocolate fanatics. It is the best dessert for a cosy weekend night while watching your favourite movie. Caution: Do not wear a white shirt when consuming this.

If you don’t already own a slow cooker, I hope this convinces you to get one! Despite the long time it takes to prepare the food, the slow cooker is really convenient. It is also healthier, as the slow heat gently cooks meat, hence reducing harmful compounds that meat might generate. And there is an added bonus of making any cheap cuts of meat extremely tender.
