As Christmas comes close, we catch up on some of the trends we’ve observed from the Fall Season 2016. Next time you go Christmas shopping, you know what to get.

1. Glittery Clothes

Brands out there are getting into the festive mood as well because we see a glittery top/sequin dress in almost every shop, and Christmas is the perfect excuse to get away with buying such a fancy outfit.

2. Bell Sleeves

Bell sleeve dresses, bell sleeve tops, and even bell sleeve sweaters! Bell sleeves are one of my favourite trends this season, simply because of the details and how it brings emphasis to an otherwise boring plain dress.

3. Bodysuits

You might’ve seen these one-piece swimwear lookalikes hanging around in stores but not sure what they are. They’re bodysuits! Recently, we’ve observed a rising number of bodysuits with fancy designs being sold in stores. The reason why they’re so popular is because when you wear them with shorts/jeans, there’s no need to worry about tucking in your top properly or your top rising up. A bodysuit will eliminate that problem. If you think it’s too troublesome for you, get one with clasps on the bottom so that it’ll be easier for you ladies in the bathroom.

4. Velvet

A little velvet never hurt no one. From shoes to dresses to sweatpants, the velvet trend is back. Velvet is the fabric of the season! It’s so soft you’ll never want to take that dress off again.

5. Chokers

The 90’s trend is back! Chokers have been trending for quite awhile now, and we think they’re gorgeous. (Even though some people think they look like pet collars.) Choose a plain choker to accessorise your outfit, or pick a bold embellished choker to make a statement.

And that’s all we have for you! Which trend do you like or see yourself wearing the most? My personal favorite would be a bodysuit or a glitter dress with a choker. Now you have an idea of what outfit you can wear to Christmas parties! No parties to attend? Fret not! Read our article on where to bring your partner this Christmas!
